Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are incorporated together with the financial terms as set out on the booking form.

  1. The Tudor Barn reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction of its premises by fire or other causes, any shortages of labour or food supplies, strikes, walk-outs or industrial unrest or any other cause beyond the control of The Barn which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking.
  2. In the event that the number of adults attending the event on the date for any reason falls below 70, The Tudor Barn reserves the right to charge 100% of the original number reserved as set out in the account.
  3. If the account is not paid 28 days or earlier prior to the date then the date will be cancelled and the deposit forfeit.
  4. The Tudor Barn accepts no responsibility for the property of customers including specifically vehicles and their contents within the grounds of The Tudor Barn. Any clothing or goods of any sort deposited in the cloakroom are at the owner's risk and without any obligation on the part of The Tudor Barn.
  5. The booking customer shall be responsible for any damage caused to The Tudor Barn's furnishing, fixtures, decorations, equipment, and utensils resulting from any wilful or negligent act on the part of a booking customer or their guest, and the booking customer shall pay to The Tudor Barn on demand the amount required by The Tudor Barn to make good any such damage.
  6. The Tudor Barn does not permit any food or drink of any sort other than that purchased on the premises to be consumed on the premises (inside or outside). This policy is strictly enforced.
  7. The Tudor Barn does not allow any entertainment or other services without the prior consent (which is at the absolute discretion of The Barn Management) in writing.
  8. The Tudor Barn reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to judge acceptable levels of noise or other behaviour which throughout the event remain the responsibility of the booking client. Statutory and Regulatory requirements in respect of fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene, and safety must be observed by the booking customer and his or her guests. The Tudor Barn Management reserves the right to terminate any event where there is a breach of any of these requirements, without incurring any liability in respect of such termination.
  9. There can be no variation of these Terms and Conditions, or the financial terms as set out in the booking form without the express consent of The Tudor Barn Management in writing.
  10. All Wedding items (cake, presents, decorations etc.) must be removed from the Barn on the evening of the event. The Tudor Barn management accept no responsibility for items left after the event.
  11. Prices quoted are subject to variation up to 12 weeks prior to arrival, after which, except for variations due to the Clients requirements, they may only vary due to changes in VAT or other reasons outside of the Tudor Barns control, in which case they will immediately be notified to the client. In the latter case the client will have the right to cancel the booking without cost.

Event Booking Form

This copy of a Booking Form is for information only.
An actual form must be obtained from the Tudor Barn and completed before any booking can be confirmed
  1. I have read and agree to abide by the attached "Terms and Conditions".
  2. I understand that The Tudor Barn ("The Barn") is the trading name of Tudor Barn (1505) Ltd. of Britwell Road , Burnham, Buckinghamshire , SL1 8DF
  3. A non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure the date for the event ('the date'). The balance of the hire charge is payable at the date of the booking or 3 months prior to the date, whichever shall be later. All dates are subject to availability and the discretion of The Tudor Barn Management.
  4. The minimum number of persons attending the event is 70 adults. The precise number must be notified at least 42 days prior to the date. An account in respect of the drinks package will be submitted at least 35 days prior to the date, which must be paid in full at least 28 days prior to the date. Following the date a VAT invoice will be submitted and any sum not expended in respect of the account repaid.
  5. Payment may be made by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Tudor Barn (1505) Ltd.
  6. Any cancellations must be notified in writing. No refund is made for cancellation within 28 days prior to the date.
